Description
Nidecker Supermatic Automatic knitting
The Nidecker Supermatic is what we've been waiting for in snowboarding: the first universal automatic snowboard binding, but with the classic buckle option. Many brands have tried but failed to crack the "step-in code".
Most of these systems required special boots recommended by the manufacturers for binding, about twice as expensive, many did not work well in powder snow, all strained ankles and knees when falling, and none were as comfortable and reliable as a simple two-strap classic snowboard binding. .
We haven't seen, or are seeing, a single snowboard movie with professionals who used stepin systems, from downhill skiing in Alaska to jumping in the park.
Because it was not possible to control the snowboard as effectively, and the chance of injury was much higher when falling.
This will be the same revolution as the appearance of automatic ski binding in the 1980s. From then on, no one wanted to hang bowden on the heel of their ski boots anymore... now we snowboarders finally got the same comfort as our fellow skiers.
This is not step knitting! It's automatic knitting! In 2002, the development of stepin shoes, with its thickened soles that clicked against the board in several places, turned out to be a dead end.
Feel free to stick to your well-proven 10-year-old snowboard shoes - it's good for you. Buy the newest, most modern, 3 Boás adjustable Ride snowboard shoes - good for you!
No shoe brand is excluded, the Nidecker Supermatic Automata snowboard binding is compatible with everything.
You don't have to bend down!
You can buckle up while on the cable car.
You open it in the same way as a Salomon ski binding.
But if you want, you can sit down, bend down, ratchet the straps, squeeze them anywhere and anytime.
You can use it all week as a traditional, classic snowboard binding. Because it IS!
Thorough work even when examined as a traditional binding: nosecaps snowboard binding, lightened large-surface straps, special 3rd transverse strap, and excellent "footpad" i.e. vibration damper under the sole.
The Nidecker Supermatic: the first universal,
double entry, automatic connection in the world.
Five years of development, this is a fast automatic access control system you can trust.
If you are tired of getting your gloves wet, pulling your straps, or sitting in the melted snow, or waiting
getting your ski friends off the lift…the future has just arrived.
The consumer demand for Supermatic is unparalleled, and will be a must-have for all snowboard shops.
Experiences:
Good strap adjustment is important! It is especially important to carefully pre-tension the transverse strap! Install it in a specialist shop that uses this new system!
When you enter, a clicking sound wall indicates that you are connected! You should hear two clicks! A clicking sound is not enough!
Upon purchase, check whether the screws of the rear rotating axle are sufficiently tightened. This is important.

The big advantage of snowboard binding is that it can be broken down into small parts, so you can
to be repaired in small units, modularly, if there is a problem or an accident, you don't necessarily have to say goodbye to the damaged joint, our specialist shop can help.

Nidecker - Flow Supermatic STEP-IN snowboard binding
The Nidecker-Flow Supermatic is the world's best and most modern snowboard binding, the end of the Step-In binding revolution and the pinnacle of evolution.
Experiments have been going on since 1969 so that we can enter a snowboard binding with any shoe and click it on our feet, then exit it with the press of a button, just like with ski bindings.
The Supermatic StepIn binding is the only and first in the world to do this perfectly and reliably.
This binding integrates everything that classic snowboard bindings (strap, nose cap, pump buckle) and quick-entry bindings with back opening have ever created.
This binding will be available from November 2022, and it is possible to test it already this year.
It got its straps and buckles from the Flow NX2 series, and its backrest from the Nidecker Kaon-X series.
This marked the end of the binding revolution, in 10 years half of the snowboarders will be using such bindings.
