The A8 is designed for all-mountain performance. This binding is precise and aggressive for snowboarders who demand the most from their bindings. If you liked the Capo, then this is the model for you. The reversible ankle strap provides two driving positions. It can be used with the stiff part of the strap on top for a more aggressive freeride feel, or switch the straps so the soft part is on top for more flexibility and lateral movement. The A-series aluminum housing provides the reactive flexibility and power transfer of aluminum with less flexibility than previous designs. The Cored Nylon Highback reduces weight, but is responsive at the same time. The slanted sole pad is made with a 2.5 degree angle, protects the joints, while providing more momentum over the tip and tail of the board. The integrated rubber sleeves enable an even smoother ride. The TPU base damper dampens high-speed vibrations. The A8 is designed for the advanced snowboarder looking for all-mountain performance.

RIDE Capo is the world's leading all-mountain and freestyle premium snowboard binding.
RIDE's top frame, the INFINITY, T6160 cr-molybdenum-titanal frame, equipped with the most serious freestyle asymmetric spatial 3D parts, is already available in the RODEO model. Capo, on the other hand, is made with the newly developed Vertigo HIGHBACK, which gives the snowboard binding a flex index of 6. The RODEO is better for stretching, but the reaction time for carving is better than this model. The 6 flex is my favorite, but many BIGMOUNTAIN riders around the world swear by it.
Only the same binding with a Carbon backrest can provide a faster flex feeling.
I recommend this super light tool to carvers, sprint champions, instructors and freeriders, but definitely to advanced boarders.
