You can only rent it in person, there is no possibility to book online. We ask that you personally pick up the equipment that has already been reserved and inspect it upon pick-up, we cannot accept complaints after pick-up.  <\/p>\n

Complete snowboard and ski sets and other accessories are available for rent<\/strong> or just separate parts. Requirements: identity card + passport (or new type of driver's license) + residential address card. Pre-booking is possible at any time during the winter season! Any reserved equipment can be canceled free of charge no later than seven days before departure, it cannot be canceled within seven days.<\/p>\n

Without payment by the booker (which is at least 50% of the total amount of the rental), there is no reservation.<\/p>\n

Tips for renting a snowboard:<\/strong><\/p>\n

From 1990 we are doing rental of snowboards<\/strong> and with 32 years of experience, we have acquired a unique routine. Today, Skiboy is exclusively special snowboard binding<\/strong> for snowboard rental<\/strong>. This is French snowboard bindings<\/strong> can be easily set, even in the middle of the piste to left to right or from small snowboard boots<\/strong> to big snowboard boots<\/strong>. The snowboard bindings<\/strong> can be easily removed, even for an unexperienced rider<\/strong> , which makes transporting very easy.<\/p>\n

We use the most popular brands in our snowboard rental<\/strong>. So we primarily use RIDE, Nidecker, Hammer, Burton, K2, JONES, YES, FOREST, KORUA, GOODBOARD snowboards for rent. 
Snowboard boots<\/strong> we work with one or two brands, we try to recommend the right one to everyone when renting.<\/p>\n

What is also important to say is that we are seriously prepared for a demand that is appearing more and more frequently: snowboards for people with big bodies or big feet. In our snowboard shop, we built a separate wall of widened (reinforced) snowboard sheets and increased the proportion of WIDE (widened) snowboards in the rental shop.<\/p>\n

A few words about the rental of protective equipment. Today, renting protective equipment and protectors is an everyday thing.<\/strong> The most important needs are butt protectors, knee protectors and helmets. I would like to say a few words about these, because there is a lot of apparent protective equipment on the Hungarian market.<\/p>\n

Protectors (butt protectors, spine protectors, crash helmets) can be rented for HUF 1,000 per day<\/strong><\/p>\n

Knee protectors can be rented for HUF 500\/day<\/b><\/p>\n

Butt protector: It can even be loose-fitting, this is not a problem, but the hip elastic should keep it up. Crouch down and check if the protective part is still above the tailbone. If the coccyx part is not triangular, but rectangular, then the protector is rarely good because it does not (cannot) extend under the coccyx. Don't believe in the plastic cover, but in the thick, impact-hardening foams. We tried Roces, Powerslide, Sixsixone, Gryphus, Red, Comperdell, Forest. Forest won big.<\/p>\n

Knee protector: We encountered many half-solutions here (e.g. skateboard, handball, other protectors). A good snowboarder's or skier's knee protector is made of neoprene. Why? Because it is the only material that stretches as much as human skin. Knee protectors made of this material will not slip off your knees and will also keep your knees warm throughout the day, protecting them from joint injuries and sprains. It is also a problem if there is a plastic covering on the surface of the fender, because when you fall, the track and the hard plastic surface will tear our much more expensive ski pants. (There can be plastic in our knee pads, but they should be embedded in shock-hardening foams!) The HMR or USD pads are exemplary in quality.<\/p>\n

Helmet: Never use no-name helmets, and if possible, the helmet should have an openable breathing channel and a protective helmet with micro-adjustment is not a disadvantage.<\/p>\n

The helmet rental<\/strong> is 1000 HUF per day<\/strong>, which, compared to a 55 Euro daily pass, should make everyone think about whether it is worth saving on security.<\/p>\n

Ski rental:<\/strong> I myself have been skiing for 46 years and Skiboy rental<\/strong> was the first in 1991 where you could rent gear. Lot of people calling me to rent ski<\/strong>, but only carving skis. Well, since 1998 every ski in the world has been a carving ski. Thus, of course, all authentic places only have carving skis.
In terms of skis, we mainly rent Salomon, Rossignol, Atomic, V\u00f6lkl, Head and Fischer skis. Our most typical ski boots are Salomon, Lange, Technika and Nordica ski boots. Our most typical sizes are from 32 to 49.<\/p>\n

Please return the rented equipment clean and dry. The shoes can be dried next to a radiator, do not dry them on a surface that is too hot (convector, near an open fire)! <\/strong><\/p>\n
