Side training<\/strong><\/div>\n

The lateral training of the boards is of fundamental importance. 80% of the damage to the boards occurs at the edge of the board, so it does not matter what material is above the edge. This material pushes the force of body weight onto the snow.<\/div>\n

Tree seed<\/strong><\/div>\n

All serious snowboards and skis are made of wood and fiberglass. Wood is the only material that is strong even in the cold, has excellent vibration damping and uniform bending. Products made of clear plastic are for shopping centers or for small children.<\/div>\n

Sandwich structure<\/strong><\/div>\n

Good snowboards have a sandwich structure. This means multi-layered layers of wood and glass fiber (in the most serious case + carbon fiber or Kevlar fiber) glued together with epoxy resin. Their presence determines the quality.<\/div>\n

Number of lateral arcs<\/strong><\/div>\n

The board's maneuverability is given by its side arc. Radiuses below 8.5 m are considered very agile, 9-10 m are considered fast. There are snowboards that have two tangent arcs. A larger curve touches the middle of the board, a smaller curve touches the back of the board. These cards are more versatile, if you load backwards, they are very agile, if they are fast in the middle.<\/div>\n

About 6 types of soles are used. The quality of the material is decisive in the lifespan of the board. The same rock quarter will cause as much damage to a more serious sole.<\/div>\n
