\u201eThe Korua Otto Classic is affordable, but that doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019s a cheap board. In fact, it outperforms many more expensive boards. What I like about the Otto is that it provides a unique carving experience, bounces well on ollies, is stable at speed, and floats almost freeride-like in powder when fully retracted. I personally own a 157 model and it\u2019s one of my favorite boards for carving the best turns on clean slopes. It\u2019s a great choice for snowboarders wearing regular-sized snowboard boots who are looking for a hard carving board, or for those who want a well-fitting, easy-turning, medium-wide board for everyday all-mountain use.<\/p>\n
The 2026 Otto now comes in two finishes: a brushed top layer and the original classic top layer. The brushed top layer is the same as the plus top layers, so it feels a little lighter, maybe a little less wet, but it bends a little easier and maybe bounces a little better.\u201d<\/p>\n
Built in a freestyle style with a slightly softer bend and twist than other Korua snowboards, the OTTO playful board is ideal for sliding in and out of side park elements. The board that offers the most in our snowboard selection is full of snapability, and the tapered nose section and the smaller, rearward camber section allow for easy edge switching speed.
\nAll of this, combined with the classic KORUA floating camber and radius, makes it a great all-mountain board, perfect for riders who want to take turns without sacrificing freestyle performance.
\nFloat Camber
\nThe floating angle of the Korua curves into a tilting shape in the nose area, creating an S-like shape. This design provides the lift you need in deep powder, improving your swim while maintaining speed throughout the turn. It also offers responsiveness and stability when going airborne or simply cornering in changing conditions.<\/p>\n
With so many weird and wonderful shapes of the KORUA product line, it may seem strange that we chose their most normal-looking silhouette as an award. But the Otto proves you don't have to say goodbye to the park if you're serious about cornering; it's a carving machine at heart, with enough tail to change things up at a moment's notice, blurring the creative lines on the mountain. A quiver killer that is not common.<\/p>\n
