Here, real surfing technique and top snowboarding technology meet through two large-format personalities. The famous surf designer Chris Christensen and Jeremy JONES tried to design a real snowsurfer, which works with a classic soft binding.
The result was a really fast and short, super maneuverable, deep snow rocket. Ultra wide board, the width of the nose is 32 cm for the smaller one, 34 cm for the larger one (the smaller nose is interestingly identical to the Hammer Stream). The board is arrow-shaped, the tail is 2 cm narrower.
By the way, the tail is a bit dovetailed: this lets the fresh snow out nicely at the back and stabilizes it, the nose of the board has a huge surface and lifts it to the surface even at low speeds and in very deep snow.
The front of the snowboard has a rocker profile, the board is directional, the back half is flat. Outstanding materials as usual from JONES: sintered Base 9900 sole, which is the best on the planet, super strong edge, which is the strongest in the world, the usual natural wood design.
