Warranty

Snowboard guarantee

GUARANTEE IS VALID:

  1. Regarding damage to the lath and plank, the factories only guarantee that the layers have been glued together properly. That is, only if the sheet/lath becomes unusable due to poor-quality gluing.
  2. Tearing of inserts or detachment of the cover are also categories that require warranty repair.

GUARANTEE IS NOT VALID:

  1. The factories are not responsible for breaking the device – unless the layers separate in the middle of the board or ski first!
  2. No warranty applies to damage to the tread, sole, edge or sidewall, nor to cracks in the plank/slat along the edge of the joint's rise line.
  3. Furthermore, there is no guarantee against cracks caused by the force of the vice acting in a line when the tail or nose is "drilled" or "stuck" in the snow.
  4. The warranty also does not apply if the snowboard is hit by a strong impact or collision (“attack”) that suddenly hits it in a point-like manner, or immediately stops it, or knocks the bottom of the board down, because this does not reflect use on normally maintained snowboard slopes or ski slopes. If such impact marks are present on the board, then unusual use has occurred, and the manufacturers’ warranty obligations are void.

The factory warranty applies to the use of snowboards/skis on groomed ski slopes. When leaving the slopes, the device may be subjected to impacts and impacts that do not fall within the category of normal use.

Snowboard binding guarantee

Snowboard bindings consist of a binding base, a disc, a backrest, and straps and buckles that move on them.

Snowboard manufacturers provide a strength and breakage guarantee for the base/disk/backrest triplet for use on a normal ski slope, provided that the snowboard binding has not been subjected to an impact ("attack") resulting from a collision.

The strap and the disc and the saw bands opposite are considered moving parts and are not covered by the warranty (e.g. we can step on them at any time, they will be under our shoes and weight, which can cause damage).

These elements are replaceable, their value is small compared to snowboard bindings (10,20,30€), and they can be repaired for a fee if damaged.

Apart from that, the binding manufacturers do not provide any other guarantees.

(There is no guarantee for abrasion of snowboard boots (heel, toe, etc.) caused by snowboard bindings during use (since hundreds of types of bindings meet hundreds of types of shoes, manufacturers do not guarantee this, especially if the snowboard boots and snowboard bindings are made by different manufacturers, which are therefore not compatible, meaning abrasion can easily occur.)

We should also mention the “lifetime” warranty, which is fashionable in the USA. This usually means a warranty longer than one year, not literally for a lifetime, but for as long as the given model is “alive!”, in production, if it is discontinued it cannot be enforced. In Hungary, the buyer can only achieve this by registering directly with the American material factory, after which they have to contact the factory in this matter. If there is a problem for more than one year, a one-year warranty can be enforced in Hungarian stores based on Hungarian legislation.

Snowboard boot warranty

Thank you for choosing the brand's snowboard boots.
Please allow us to draw your attention to a few things that are important when using this product.

Manufacturers offer a sewing and sole gluing guarantee for snowboard boots. Snowboard boot factories add this work to the purchased, tested materials during production.
In the event of a warranty, we will repair, sew, or glue the defective part. A new product is only considered if the necessary technology is not available during a valid warranty period.

Snowboard boots are put to special use, and the cost of damaging your boots can sometimes be the cost of preserving your physical integrity.
Factories are not obligated to deal with any material tears resulting from cutting or rubbing!

We should also mention the increasingly popular Boa twist-button, quick lacing system. Here, the twist-button has such a high force transmission that we can easily lace up the shoe, even with the strength of a small child's fingers.
However, if we abuse this, we can stretch the steel cord indefinitely in the injection-molded plastic channel designed for it and cut it.
It is important to know that the factories also guarantee proper stitching, meaning that the plastic channel and the base of the Boa button are sewn into the boot in a proper quality.
So, if we cut the plastic channel with pointless over-tensioning, or break the screw knob off during a collision, it is not covered by the warranty.

The sole bonding warranty is void if the shoe has been used with a snowboard binding that has caught the heel of the shoe. This is not a defect in the bonding.

Snowboard boots only last if they fit properly, so when buying, try on snowboard boots of different sizes and shapes to choose which one is most comfortable for you.
With boots, if you choose a boot that is too big, it won't support your ankle properly...
Here, the external Velcro, laces, and boa must be pulled tight to keep the shoe in place.

Snowboard boots do not necessarily protect against serious injuries.
It is important to note that snowboarding is a very dangerous sport, sometimes even life-threatening. Therefore, manufacturers distance themselves from any injuries that occur during such activities!

Do not expose the surface of your snowboard boots to high temperatures and protect them from wide temperature fluctuations. If exposed to temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius, your snowboard boots may deform and lose their original shape.
Such high temperatures, or even higher, can easily occur in the trunk of a vehicle in very hot weather. But this problem also occurs when washing at high temperatures or on hot radiators. Snowboard boots that have been exposed to such temperatures are unsuitable for further use.

Unfortunately, some accidents can cause foot injuries that NO boot can adequately protect against. Depending on the type of impact, even the lowest speed impact can cause serious injury. Be careful.

Maintenance and cleaning of snowboard boots:

Wash the shoes with lukewarm soapy water or put the lining in the washing machine on a gentle cycle at 30 degrees Celsius. If you have removed the lining, put it back after drying, making sure that the correct side of the lining is placed in the correct side of the shoe and that the pieces fit together.

Using solvents, paint, or stickers may damage the exterior covering material.

The product is for snowboarding purposes only.
It cannot be used in other sports such as cycling, motorcycling, mountain climbing, etc., as it is not suitable for these.
No snowboard boot can protect its wearer from unexpected, high-force impacts or mechanical impacts (hard-frozen ski slopes, stones, pebbles, pieces of ice, rocks).
There is no warranty for products damaged in this way. We can only deal with warranties resulting from sewing problems or poor gluing of the sole.

For proper fixation, also tighten the straps of the snowboard binding to tightly hold the inserted boot.

Snowboard protector warranty

There is only a sewing guarantee for protectors!

Protectors are put to special use, and sometimes the price of maintaining our physical integrity can be damage to the protector.

Factories are not obligated to deal with any material tears resulting from cutting or rubbing!

Please allow us to draw your attention to a few things that are important when using the product.

The protector only protects if it fits tightly to the body, so when buying, try on different sizes of protectors to see which one fits best. During the fitting, ask our colleague for help in adjusting the appropriate adjustment straps, buckles, and Velcro fasteners.

With wrist guards, it is especially important to tighten the Velcro fasteners.

Protectors do not necessarily provide protection against serious injuries, they only reduce their severity.

It is important to note that snowboarding is a high-risk, sometimes life-threatening sport. Therefore, protector manufacturers distance themselves from any injuries that occur during such activities. There is no perfect protection.

Do not expose the protector to high temperatures and protect it from wide temperature fluctuations. Such temperatures can occur in the trunk of a car, on hot radiators, or when washing at high temperatures. In such cases, the protector may lose its impact protection.

If the protector receives a direct and significant impact, it must be replaced.

Unfortunately, some accidents can cause skiing or snowboarding injuries that no amount of protection can adequately protect against. Depending on the type of impact, even the lowest speed impact can cause serious injury. Be careful!

Maintenance and cleaning of the PROTECTOR:

Wash the protector with lukewarm soapy water or put it in the washing machine on a gentle cycle at 30 degrees Celsius. If the plastic protector can be pulled out of the sewn part, put it back after drying so that it fits snugly over the protected bones, it is important to reattach it correctly.

Using solvents, paint, or stickers may damage the exterior covering material.

The product is for skiing/snowboarding purposes only.

It cannot be used in other sports such as cycling, motorcycling, etc., as it is not suitable for them.

No protector protects its wearer from unexpected, high-force impacts or mechanical impacts (frozen ski slopes, stones, pebbles, pieces of ice, rocks).

There is no warranty for products damaged in this way. We can only deal with a warranty arising from a sewing problem.

To ensure a proper fit, tighten the straps of the protector to ensure a tight fit.

After use, the product must be stored in a dry place in order to maintain a longer service life.

Snowboard glove warranty

Please allow us to draw your attention to a few things that are important when using this product.

Manufacturers provide a sewing guarantee for snowboard gloves.

Gloves are subjected to special stress due to the use of hands.

Factories are not obligated to deal with any material tears resulting from cutting or rubbing!

Gloves only provide warmth if they fit your hand properly, so try on different sizes of gloves when buying to choose which one is most comfortable.

With gloves with wrist guards, if you choose a size that is too big, the wrist guard will not protect you.

Here, the outer Velcro must be pulled tight to protect the glove.

Protective gloves do not provide complete protection against serious injuries.

It is important to note that snowboarding is a dangerous sport, sometimes even life-threatening. Therefore, manufacturers distance themselves from any injuries that occur during such activities!

Do not expose the surface of the gloves to high temperatures and protect them from wide temperature fluctuations. If exposed to temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius, the gloves may lose their breathability and water resistance.

Temperatures this high, or even higher, can easily occur in the trunk of a vehicle in very hot weather. But this problem also occurs when washing at high temperatures or on hot radiators. Gloves damaged by such high temperatures are unfit for further use.

If the wrist guard receives a direct and significant impact, it must be replaced.

Unfortunately, some accidents can cause hand injuries that NO protector can adequately protect against. Depending on the type of impact, even the lowest speed impact can cause serious injury. Be careful.

Glove maintenance and cleaning:

Wash the gloves with lukewarm soapy water or put them in the washing machine on a gentle cycle at 30 degrees Celsius. If the plastic protector can be removed from the protective gloves, put them back on after drying so that they fit snugly on the wrist. Correct re-fitting is important.

Using solvents, paint, or stickers may damage the exterior covering material.

The product is for snowboarding purposes only.

It cannot be used in other sports such as cycling, motorcycling, etc., as it is not suitable for them.

No glove can protect its wearer from unexpected, high-force impacts or mechanical impacts (frozen ski slopes, stones, pebbles, pieces of ice, rocks).

There is no warranty for products damaged in this way. We can only deal with a warranty arising from a sewing problem.

To ensure proper fit, tighten the glove straps to ensure a tight fit.

After use, the product should be stored in a dry place to ensure a longer lifespan.
