Serge has reformed established snowboard design principles by combining the best features of the best powder boards with the best carving boards to create the ultimate freeride snowboard. The 'D1 offers incredible cornering experiences, unparalleled acceleration and stability at high speeds. Its size belies its maneuverability – it actually handles like a 162-164cm snowboard.
This is a snowboard that craves big open spaces, long runs and deep powder. The first test of D1 will open the eyes of freeriders, and we will wonder where this D1 feeling was in our entire snowboarding life!
Classically long freeride nose, great in fast turns, just as much on the groomed track as in virgin snow.
The buoyancy of the nose section is very high, so very little force is needed to change the edge in deep snow. It turns more easily on the track than you might think due to its size.
We can expect very fast, precise edge-holding from him even on icy tracks.
